Sharon Kay Pierce, 65, of Dewey, Oklahoma, passed away on October 4, 2025, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Born on February 3, 1960, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Sharon was the daughter of Lynn and Iona May Williams. She graduated from Dewey High School in 1978 and spent over 40 years as a proud resident of the Dewey area.
Sharon dedicated many years of her life working at the Osage Casino and Cherokee Casino, where she formed lasting friendships and was known for her strong work ethic and warm smile.
She had a deep love for her family—especially her grandchildren—and cherished the companionship of her beloved cats. Sharon’s warmth, sense of humor, and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Williams; mother, Iona Williams; brother, Carl Williams; and sister, Gina Williams.
She is survived by her brother, Dean Williams; her son, David Peoples; her granddaughter, Kaylah Peoples; and her grandson, Korbin Peoples.
A memorial lunch to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at the Osage Casino buffet on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
