Robert Lester Pierce
Nov. 6, 1939 ~ June 13, 2013

ENID - Robert Lester Pierce, 73, of Enid, was born Nov. 6, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Lester Vernon and Myrtle Lucille Orra Pierce and passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2013, in Enid.

He received his bachelor's degree in accounting, and in November 1969, married Barbara Rae Honeman in Reeder, N.D.

Robert was an accountant with Union Pacific Rail Road, Bunker Hill Mine and Basin Power in North Dakota.

He enjoyed chess, computer sciences and reading. Robert was an accomplished musician and choir singer, participating in several musical productions in Reeder, N.D., and with choirs in Enid.

Survivors include his brother, Oscar Pierce of Farmington, N.D., and stepsisters, Linda Ann and husband Kenneth Hubbs of Enid, and Barbara Joyce Magarity.

Robert was preceded in passing by his parents; sister, Susan Pierce; and brother, Ronald Pierce.

Celebration of Life service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Stittsworth Memory Chapel, with Pastor Scott Whittenberg officiating.
