Linda Lou is survived by her husband, Dan Pierce. Her son, Bryan Tucker (Stacey), her daughter, Christina Walker (Mike), her son, Jonathan Pierce (Andrea). Grandchildren: Nicole Rehn and Christopher Tucker. Great-grand daughters: Rylee and Lillian. Linda's surviving siblings, Angie Stafford, Jacquita Demeduck, and Janet Riley.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Della Mae Burton and father, Lawrence William Riley. Her sisters, Edith Elaine Heald and Deanna Johnson.
Linda Lou Riley Pierce was born June 28, 1947, at University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. To her parents Lawrence and Della Mae Riley. Linda grew up being a daddy's girl and was very much in love with her daddy being a long-haul truck driver. Many of her younger years were spent under the care of ger Granny and Pa in Arizona, while her dad was on the road. Linda and her little sister Edith, came to Oklahoma City, and spent their adult lives here in Oklahoma.
On August 16, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Linda married her High School boy friend Jerry Dale Tucker. They had two children, Byran and his younger sister Christina. Linda and Jerry were divorced on March 12, 1980.
During Linda's young adult years, she worked for Opal's Answering Service. Also, she worked for a short time at the State Health Department working for Cecil Pirrong. After working for the Heath Department, she joined the Credit Union for 38 years as a member service representative. Working at the Credit Union was a great joy to Linda. She formed lifelong relationships with customers and co-workers. Her smile brightened everyone's day. Linda touched the lives of many people. She will be truly missed.
Linda's main hobby was genealogy, her passion for it ran deep. She found joy in teaching others her love for genealogy. At times she would teach genealogy classes at church. Linda enjoyed researching her family history and associated stories. She held those moments that she felt her ancestors close to her heart.
On March 27, 1981, Linda married Danny Lynn Pierce, who was in the Air Force at the time, they met at church. One of the things that they enjoyed doing together was square dancing. On September 14, 1982, they welcomed their only child, a son, Jonathan Riley Pierce. Linda and Dan were married 41 years.
