David Eugene "Pick" Pickens died November 19, 2015 in Purcell at the age of 59 Years 10 Months 18 Days.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, November 30, 2015 at Landmark Church with Reverend Justin Blankenship officiating, under the care of Wadley�s Funeral Service.
David was born January 1, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert and Wilma (Cherry) Pickens. He was raised and attended school in Davis, graduating in 1974. On August 16, 2013, David married the love of his life, Debbie after dating for many years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. David enjoyed the outdoors doing things like camping, going to the lake and walking. He enjoyed traveling when he could, watching wrestling and working in the medical field. David was a Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medication Aide and certified Physical Therapy Assistant.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Wilma Pickens; wife, Debbie Pickens; brothers, Raymond "Buster" Pickens; and sister, Besi Oliver.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda of the home, 4 grandchildren, Kassidy, Randy, MacKinze and Mikey; Son, Ryan Pickens of Prair Vally, Kanas; Misty Elam of Texas; 2 more grandchildren, Noah and Hannah; Brandi Thompson of Blanchard; grandsons, Ethan and Ty, and granddaughter Macie of Pauls Valley; siblings, Evelyn West of Sulphur, Robert Pickens of Dibble, Sharon Pickens of Davis and many other relatives and friends.
