Visitation for Patrick Darnell Phillips, age 36, of Enid will be Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4-8 pm at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, Enid, OK. Arrangements are made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Patrick Darnell Phillips was born November 27, 1984, at Bass Memorial Hospital, Enid, Oklahoma to the union of Louis Charles Phillips and Maple Clare (Jones) Aaron-Phillips. He departed this life on October 20, 2021, where he transitioned from time to eternity.

Patrick was baptized at an early age, by Rev David Brown, Sr. He became a member and attended Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Pat-Pat was a “gentle giant” and was loved by everyone because of his sweet disposition. He did not have a mean streak in him and he always had a smile.

Patrick graduated from Pioneer Pleasant Vale High School, Waukomis, OK on May 2001 and attended Northern Oklahoma College for a short period of time.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Louis Charles Phillips, Jr; his great-grandfather, Leroy Phillips, his great-grand parents Allen and Pearl Aaron and Isreal and Jessie Aaron Jones, his great-great grandparents Dewey and Epsie V Williams. Four uncles: Clinton Richardson Jr, Izeal Jones, Don Ray Jones and Micheal W. Tolbert. Three aunts: Louella J Boone, Thema R Watkins and Agnes J Tolbert.

Patrick leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Samaria Deshawn Phillips of Shreveport, LA, a loving and devoted mother, Maple Phillips of Shreveport, LA, his father and step-mother, Louis and Rachelle Phillips, Enid, OK, his great grandmother, Elnora W Phillips of Colorado Springs, CO; Louise Stevenson, Enid, OK, a niece whom he loved so very much, Nakhia L Phillips, his brothers: Anthony Phillips, Lonelle J Callum, Colorado Springs, CO, Louis and Aaron Phillips, Shreveport, LA, Anthony L Jones of Houston, TX, Amarion Phillips, Enid, OK, Peyton Phillips, United States Army, his step-brother, Hunter Melvin, Enid OK, his sister, Mia Phillips, Enid, OK; his step-sisters: Sylvia Pearson, Nataleigh Melvin, Lawton, OK, Zoey Melvin, Enid, OK and a host of “many aunts and uncles,” other relatives and friends, who loved him “dearly.”
