Larry Neal Phillips, 71, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Edmond, OK. He was born August 19, 1946 in Tulsa, OK to Harlen and Viola (Brown) Phillips.
Larry graduated from Coyle High School where he met his wife, Francene. Larry and Francene were married May 5, 1967 in Coyle, OK. They were blessed with a son, Kris and daughter, Lori. They lived in Ponca City, OK for 27 years where Larry, a civil engineer, was employed as a land surveyor. Larry and Francene moved to Guthrie, OK in 1995 where they were semi-retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harlen Phillips and Viola and Alvin Moorman; his brother, James Phillips; his wife, Francene; and daughter, Lori Foglesong.
Larry leaves behind his son, Kristen Phillips; sisters, Norma Arnett, Laurada Franks, and Leisa Thornsbrough; a grandson, Brandon Foglesong; a granddaughter, Mikah Phillips; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Associate Pastor Mark Berry of Eastern Heights Christian Church of Ponca City officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Integris Hospice House, 13920 Quailbrook Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
