Chloe Marie Phillips, 15 years young, and a beautiful and bright light, was dimmed in the early morning of Friday, August 21. Chloe was born on July, 26, 2005 in Norman, OK, and was raised and lived in Blanchard, OK. Chloe was a sophomore at Blanchard High School, where she was actively involved in yearbook and track. Chloe loved music, dancing, video games, and being a social butterfly with her friends. Chloe was an extremely intelligent young woman and dreamed of one day going to college and becoming a lawyer. On that journey, she looked forward to her first kiss, getting her driver’s license, and one day going to Paris. Chloe’s faith kept her steadfast; she always stood up for what she believed in, and she showed kindness and compassion in everything she did.
Chloe is survived by her mother and father, Nicole and Dustin Cook; her siblings, Lily, Hudson, and Ella Cook; her grandparents, Jim and Yvonne Lackey, and Bill and Darla Frick; her uncle, Josh Lackey; her aunt and uncle, DesiRae and Ray Priddy; and her paternal father, Cory Phillips and his family. Chloe was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Naomi Lackey and Darren Cook; and her great aunt and uncle, Janet and Jack Melton.
Public viewing for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. A private, family-only service will be held at First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Chloe Phillips’ name to Heartline at https://heartlineoklahoma.org/get-involved/donate. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
