Larry Dennis Pettey

July 5, 1938 ~ October 11, 2014

Larry Dennis Pettey, Tryon, Oklahoma, resident was born on July 5, 1938, in Mason City, Iowa, and departed this life on October 11, 2014, at his home, at the age of 76 years.

Larry was the son of Velma Baker Pettey.

He married Lola Pauline Keith on July 29, 1961, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Larry served in the United States Air Force.

He worked for the United States Postal Service for many years.

Larry's brother, Patrick and step-father, Bobby Griggs preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Velma Griggs, one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Michael Lamb of Tryon, one grandson, Mikey Lamb and one sister, Janice Mosloski of Fairmont, Minnesota as well as other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
