Mildred (Fischer) Petersen

May 26, 1921 ~ 1999

Mildred Fischer Petersen died Friday at her Shawnee residence. She was 77.

She was born northwest of Shawnee on May 26, 1921, the daughter of Otto and Louisa Bruza Fischer.

Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Earnest Fischer, Jim Fischer, Joe Fischer and Eddie Fischer; and three sisters, Ella Fischer, Helen Hull and Emma Lee Stone.

Survivors include her husband, George T. Petersen Jr. of the home; son, George T. Petersen III; daughters, Betty Jean Cockrell and Lois Marie Lenart; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mayme Fischer Markwell, and many other relatives and friends.

At Mrs. Petersen's request, no services will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Chapel.
