Cartwright, OK- Ronnie Peters passed from this life on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at Alliance Health in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 68. Ronnie was born on Wednesday, September 19th, 1956 in Fresno, California to the late Joseph Peters and Lorene Geneva (Cummins) Peters.
Ronnie came with his family from California to Colbert, Oklahoma where he attended school growing up. Ronnie was a simple man as he worked as a laborer mowing lawns and doing whatever else to make money. He enjoyed being outdoors as he went hunting and fishing, and collecting antiques and making the rounds at garage sales. Most of all he loved his grandkids and being with them. Ronnie is a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Keith; and a brother, Jackie Peters.
He leaves behind his 3 daughters Faith Peters, Carrie Peters, and Debbie Peters; a son, Joe Peters; 8 grandkids Chad, Preston, Charleston, Almanzo, Laura, Skyler, Sierra, and Dylan; 4 great-grandkids Chad Jr, Jackson, Evie, and Elizabeth; his siblings Linda Lovelace, Joe Peters (Serena), Kathy Meade, Irene Johnson (David), Becky Peters, Debbie Drew, and Darlene; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral and Cremation Service in Durant.
