Roy L. Peters

1917 ~ 2016

Roy L. Peters, 99 of Brisbane, has gone on to be reunited with his beloved wife the late Effie Gogas Peters.

Roy is survived by his sisters, Hazel Peters Thomas, Pomona, KS and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Mary Jane Essary and Harvey Peters, Siblings: Eva Bean, Esther Steinsiek, Irene Thomas, Adell Collette, Pauline Peters, Ruth Peters, Wanda King, Hilda Binyon, Tom Peters, Hugh Peters, Asia Winton (Pete) Peters, and Hershel Peters.

Mr. Peters worked as a self employed Barber after returning home from serving in the Army. Roy enjoyed being independent, which included walking to the top of the mountain behind his house at the age of 91.

A celebration of life was held at 6pm on Sunday, April 24 at Brisbane Community Church. Graveside service were Wednesday April 27 at 10 AM at Olivet Memorial Park, 1601 Hillside Blvd., Colma, CA.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Roy L. Peters Memorial in care of the Community Church of Brisbane, 348 Visitacion Avenue, Brisbane, CA 94005.
