Cleaoma Jackson “Jack” Perry, 79, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at his home under the care of his family and Affinis Hospice. He was born in Arkansas and had lived in Arkansas and Oklahoma for most of his life before moving to Ludowici. Ga. He had owned and operated Jack’s Food City grocery store for many years in Stilwell before moving back to Arkansas and becoming a car salesman, retiring at age 77. He was a veteran of the Navy and a member of Community Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Megan Perry.
Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Andy Boren of Waldron, Ark.; sons and daughter-in-law, Rick and Gabi Perry of Ludowici, Ga., and Chris Perry of Central City, Ark.; sisters, Judy Scarlett of Ft. Smith, Ark., Mary Meyers of Little Rock, Ark., and Relinda Vines of El Dorado, Ark.; brothers, Pete Perry of Stilwell and Nick Perry of Alexandria, La.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Community Bible Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Family and friends may sign the online register at www.howardfuneralga.com.
