Ruby Potter Permenter passed away in an Albuquerque, New Mexico hospital Monday, December 9, 1968. She had been seriously ill since January of this year, and had been in a critical condition the four weeks previous to her death.
Immediate survivors include her husband, Otis Permenter; her daughter Beatrice Dicker, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a son, Paul Wesley Foster of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren;one great grandchild; three sisters, Klina Casady of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; her twin, Lily Noblitt of Pampa, Texas; Helen Mumford of Albuquerque; and a brother, Haskell Potter of Mesquite, Texas; as well as other relatives and friends.
Ruby, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Potter, grew to womanhood in the Durham community of Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
After completing grade school there she attended high school in Drumright. Later she attended Oklahoma College for Women and Southwestern State College. She taught in rural schools of Roger Mills County.
She was a member of the Methodist church, Rebekah Lodge, and the Homemakers club.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque.
