Virginia Ann (Hipsley) Pepper, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma resident was born June 15, 1953. She departed this life on Friday, May 1, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years after a lengthy battle with Covid-19.
Virginia was the daughter of Dale and Leone (Dickson) Hipsley. She graduated in the class of 1971 from John Marshall high school, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and soon after married Thomas (Tom) J. Pepper on November 12, 1971. Tom and Virginia enjoyed 48 years of marriage. She was employed by Wal-Mart and retired in November of 2018 after 28 ½ years of loyal service to the company.
She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, cousin, and friend. She was best known for her faithful friendships and beautiful smile.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Warren Hipsley, and son Tony (Thomas Anthony) Pepper.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 48 years Thomas Pepper; daughter Angela and husband Craig Young; grandchildren Emma and Ryan Young, Caroline, Claire, Kiera, and Kiegan Pepper. Sister-in-law Terry Pepper and lifelong friends Grover and Max Gregory, many other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed.
