Cheri Elaine Pennock
February 23, 1972 ~ January 2, 2026

Oklahoma City-
Cheri Elaine Pennock was born in Shawnee, OK on February 23, 1972, to Raymond and Debra Pennock. She passed away in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by the love of her family.

Cheri graduated from Varnum High School. Following high school, she dedicated many years of hard work to Wrangler, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dependability. In her later years, she worked for MD Product as a machine operator, where she continued to give her best every day.

Cheri found joy in the simple things in life. She loved fishing, yard selling, collecting gnomes, taking road trips, trying new things, spending time with her family, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs and OKC Thunder and watching old movies and sitcoms. Family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

She is survived by her spouse, Wayne Lewis of Oklahoma City, Ok; her mother, Debra Pennock of Seminole, OK; daughters Shannon Johnson and her spouse Jamar Oakley of Houston, TX, Geena Johnson of Seminole, OK; sons Brendon Johnson of Shawnee, OK and David Johnson of Houston, TX; sister Angela Pennock of Seminole, OK; brother Raymond Pennock of Seminole, Ok; brothers Kit and William Pennock of Stroud, OK; sister Jayelyn Pennock of Stroud, OK; and her beloved grandchildren Jayden Barber, Caidence Barber, Amyah Johnson, Jailah Oakley, Jamarion Oakley, and Grayson Johnson.

Cheri was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Pennock, and her sister, Ramona Pennock.

Cheri will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the family she loved so deeply.
