Terry Pendleton, resident of Blackwell, died on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 at the Oklahoma City Veterans Hospital. He was 71.
Roberts and Son Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Honoring his request, no services will be held.
Terry L. Pendleton was born on Dec. 21, 1951 in Oklahoma City to Cecil Edmond and Juanita Pearl (Powell) Pendleton. Following high school Terry served our country in our United States Navy from 1972-1976. On March 26, 1971 he married Earlene Redding in Wheeler, TX and five children were born to that union. They were married for 17 years.
Terry worked for many years as a truck driver. On Feb. 26, 1989 he married Cathy in Blackwell, OK.
He loved to fish and was an OU Sooners fan. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed in the lives of many.
Terry is survived by his children; Sheila and Rodney Brewer of Blackwell; Melissa Huster, Terry Shawn Pendleton, Cory Lynn Pendleton all of Nardin and Zachery Collyar of Ponca City; siblings, Joe Pendleton of Blackwell, Cecil Pendleton, Sharon Ellis, Rhonda White, Linda Hughes (all of Nardin) Carol Cook, Charlie Barrows, Jerry Evans, Rozell and Janice Wilson; grandchildren, Joshua Wilson and Kiralise Silva of Maryland, Brady Wilson of Blackwell, Jessica Devene of Blackwell, Caytlyn Hind of Ponca City, Corbyn Cooley of Ponca City, Mycah Pendleton of Ark City, KS, Cadence, Lylli and Evya Dawn Pendleton of TN,Trinity Mantz of Newkirk, Shane Brewer of Yukon and Donovan Brewer of Iowa; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Carter, Emerson, Able, Divine, Baylee Ann Wilson, Everliegh Brewer, Fraya Brewer and Aryia Brewer and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cathy and Donna Kay Pendleton, Roxanne Marie Cooley; Ronnie Barrows, JE Pendleton, Juanita Powell and Cecil Pendleton.
