Russ Ann Pendleton Sept 25, 1946 - February 13, 2014 Some people seem truly invincible. Russ Ann was one of those people. And end of an era one would say as we say goodbye to Russ Ann and take many memories from a road well-traveled. She lived a life full of unbridled adventure and a love for meeting people everywhere she went.
Her deepest love was for her three children and she had profound pride that their lives blossomed as a result of her strength and adventurous nature. She had lifelong friendships and leaves many memories. From her true admiration of the history of Oklahoma to her inquisitive nature of Cowboys, Indians, Harleys, people, and places led her to leave her mark on many. She will be missed. Few people stand out the way she did.
Her son, Sloane, and daughters, Sandy and Shana, along with their families including Russ Ann's grandchildren will truly miss her unique and amazing presence. Her friends will remember she lit up the room with laughter, along with so many memorable adventures. To say she loved life is an understatement. She was open to all people and experiences.
She leaves us with a great appreciation of her life. Rare people like Russ Ann carve out a piece in your heart in a way that your will remember their uniqueness forever. She loved, she lost, she never gave up, and she did it her way. We will love and remember her forever. Queen of the Road"in so many ways. We love you Russ Ann.
