Marie Pendleton

???? ~ August 18, 2003 | Age 94

Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 23, at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park for Marie Pendleton, 94, who passed away August 18 in Bakersfield.

Marie was born in Schoolton, OK, and has been a resident of Kern Co. for 69 years. She loved gardening, sewing, word puzzles, her Bible and especially her grandchildren.

She attended Full Gospel Lighthouse Church for many years. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, "Fuzzy" Harm Pendleton. Survivors include her sons, Jerry and wife Betty Pendleton, J. R. Pendleton; daughter, Dorothy Youngblood; grandchildren, Jerry, Jr. and Brenda Pendleton, Jason and Jodie Pendleton, Carol and Dave Langston, Brenda and Dan Langston, Pamela Lerma, Donny Youngblood, Meredith and Mike Spivy, Jason and Karla Pendleton, Connie and Palmer Brandon and Diana Garcia; 21 great grandchildren and 8 1/2 great great grandchildren; sister, Lois White (her special caregiver); and brother, San Brown and wife, Alma and many lifetime friends.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is now with "Fuzzy" in Heaven.

Visitation will be Friday, August 22, from 4-8 p.m. at Mish Funeral Home Oildale.
