Maureen Theresa Pelikan, age 64, of Lawton passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder.
Maureen was born on November 28, 1953 in Woodbury, New Jersey to Joseph and Helen (Higgins) Ritchie. She grew up and spent most of her life in the Minotola, New Jersey area before moving to Oklahoma four years ago. She worked as a Home Health Aide in New jersey before retiring. In her free time, Maureen enjoyed baking Christmas cookies and watching General Hospital.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Ritchie,
Maureen is survived by her two sons, Darrell Fales of Friendswood, Texas and William Fales of Lawton; her daughter, Kimberly Fales Pettit; four grandsons, Marcel Lopez of Fort Hood, Texas, Tristan Fales of Lawton, Tyler Fales of Lawton and Gabriel Ramatowski of Lawton; three granddaughters, Sheree Pettit of Lawton, McKenzi Pettit of Lawton and Kiley McCormack of Lawton and one brother, Christopher Ritchie of the Philippines along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
