Robert Pearson, (Our Bob) a beloved husband, papa, brother and friend was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior on July 26, 2023, at the age of 74. He was born on January 27, 1949, and leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to his wife Gail, his family and friendships.
Bob was a Vietnam veteran and proudly served in the Navy as a corpsman as well as serving in the Marines. He bravely served his country and was honored for his service. After returning from the war, Bob worked alongside his father in their cabinet shop. After several years in carpentry, he was a recruiter for High Tech Institute. Bob held several interesting positions working with people and serving others. After retirement, Bob continued to be a blessing through his various hobbies and passions.
One of Bob’s pastimes was motorcycling, which allowed him to explore the open road with friends and experience the freedom of the ride. He was also a member of a cycling club that visited hospitals and distributed toys to children, bringing joy and smiles to their faces.
Bob had a talent for tinkering and enjoyed working on various projects. He used his skills to help his family and friends, always lending a hand whenever someone needed assistance. His passions extended to his interest for RVing, where he and Gail could travel the nation and create great memories meeting new friends.
Bob will be most remembered for his love of Jesus, kind heart, his dedication to helping others, his generosity giving to those in need and his unwavering love for Gail and his family. He leaves behind cherished memories of sincere advice, boisterous laughter and big hugs that will be forever treasured by his loved ones.
He is survived by his family and friends, who will continue to honor his memory and carry on his legacy of service and compassion for others.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
