Gary Douglas Pearson
March 3, 1962 ~ February 18, 2022

Celebration of Life service for Gary Douglas Pearson, age 59, of Enid will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Vernon Lee officiating. Cremation and service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Gary was born in Billings, MT to Gary L. and Barbara J. (Lenington) Pearson. He joined older sisters Janet and Laura. The family moved to Townsend when Gary was 7 and to Deer Lodge when Gary was 12. He gained three younger brothers along the way: Tim, Steve, and Ben. Gary graduated from Powell County High School. He joined the national guard in 1985 and later enlisted fulltime in the Army, beginning a career that took him all over the US and Europe. Gary loved being a soldier. He was discharged from the Army in 2013 as Sergeant First Class.

Gary married Kelly Diane Downing in 1992 and from this union came Brittany Lynn and Preston Timothy. Gary married Elizabeth Shorey Harmon in 2009 and they have three children: Jacob Daniel, Amelia Josephine, and Evelyn Leith.

Gary was a man who lived without regret. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish, especially in the mountains of Montana. He loved to sing. But more than anything, he loved his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Benjamin Paul Pearson and Stephen Andrew Pearson, brother-in-law James Eugene Knudson, and nephew Trevor Scott Brown.

Gary is survived by wife Elizabeth, children Brittany, Preston, Jacob, Amelia, and Evelyn, siblings Jan Knudson, Laura Pearson, and Tim Pearson. Gary has many nieces and nephews that he deeply loved.
