Ronald Tuffy Peabody
October 19, 1945 ~ July 24, 2023

Kingston, OK- Ronald Tuffy Peabody was born Friday, October 19th, 1945 at Baker, Montana to Tuffy and Laverne (Spicer) Peabody. He passed from this life on Monday, July 24th, 2023 in his home at the age of 77.

Ron grew up at Ekalaka, Montana and worked at the Family Ranch for 20 years. Ron worked as a oilfield pusher for many years and also worked in construction for several years until his retirement. Ron married Loretta Swanson on December 30th, 2005 at Courtside, Arizona. After his retirement, they would spend summers in Nebraska and winters in Arizona. Ron and Loretta moved to Kingston five years ago. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and just being outdoors.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and 2 brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta of the Kingston home; step-children Connie, Bonnie, Tina, Rodney, Judy, Kenneth, Leslie, Roger, and Dede; and numerous grandchildren.

Ron’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant.
