Frances Jane (Christy) Paulk
November 9, 1931 ~ November 22, 2012 (age 81)

Paulk, Frances Jane Christy, 81, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma.  She was born November 9, 1931 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Benjamin Franklin Christy and Ada Mae Clothier.  She had several nicknames:  Sister, GG, Piecake, Grandma and Nana.

Frances graduated Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson, Kansas.  She attended Oklahoma Christian College in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  She spent her early years in Kansas and in 1967 she moved to Oklahoma.   She worked in a secretarial capacity at Kress Department Store, Phillips Petroleum, Sears and the Northside Church of Christ in Wichita, Kansas and the Westside Church of Christ in Norman, Oklahoma.  Frances enjoyed china painting, sewing, flower gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Frances is survived by one son: Larry Paulk and his wife Angel of Goldsby, Oklahoma; three daughters:  Anita Dunn and her husband Jim of Cashion, Oklahoma; Rita Torneten and her husband Bill of Norman, Oklahoma; Shari Quintana and her husband Jorge of Allen, Texas; one sister: Donna Petty of Enid, Oklahoma; nine Grandchildren: Brian Dunn, April Wood and her husband Dane, Sarah Janssen and her husband Elliot, Joe Dunn, Lisa Torneten, Zachary Paulk and his fiancee Kelli, Lacey Paulk, Sean Quintana, Evan Quintana; four Great Grandchilden:  Blaine, Briley,  Bristol and Adlee.  

Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p..m., Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at Westside Church of Christ, 726 McGee, Norman, Oklahoma.    

Memorial donations may be made to Know your Bible, 4545 N. Meridan Ave., Wichita, Kansas, 67204.  

Arrangements for Frances and her family have been placed in the care of the Vice Family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
