Sheridan Cleo Patterson, 78 years old, passed away on November 14, 2016 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on January 3, 1938, Sheridan was the 10th child of twelve born to Samuel Arthur and Verna Cleo (Kelley) Patterson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers: Charles Herbert, Paul McClellan, Houston Piercy, Sr. (H.P.), Edwin G. Patterson, Joe M. Patterson and 2 sisters: Minnie Jewel Deffenbaugh and Carolyn Janice Lowe.
Sheridan attended school in Stilwell, graduating from Stilwell High School in 1956. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northeastern State University in 1964.
Sheridan was employed in the Mehegan Clinic for 40+ years. She held an Honorary KOAA Membership to the A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Missouri.
Sheridan was of the Baptist faith and was very close to her Lord and Savior.
Sheridan is survived by four sisters: Christine Hunter of Richardson, TX, Barbara Johnson of Stilwell, OK, Margaret Sue Asbill of Bunch, OK and Billie N. Garrett of Sand Springs, OK, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a multitude of friends and two precious little angels: Nikki Henson and Jernie Girdner both of Stilwell, OK.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's
Cancer Hospital.
