Mary Lou (Perry) Parsons
March 17, 1922 ~ June 14, 2020

Mary Lou Perry Parsons was born March 17, 1922 to Bradford and Ethel Alred Perry in Ringling, Oklahoma. She moved to Stratford, Oklahoma with the family in 1927. She attended McGee Grade School and Stratford High School and finished later at Redlands, California. She studied at San Bernardino Valley College.

Mary had diversified skills in many areas. She managed several offices from a Power Company in Kansas to a Furniture Store Manager in California. She sold real estate in California and New Mexico. She had a Flower Shop and Clothing Stores, Art Gallery, in Oklahoma and New Mexico. Her last official employment was in Ruidoso, New Mexico where she was very successful in Real Estate, selling several major properties. She was a member of Stratford Free Will Baptist Church.

She married Don Parsons, September of 1976. Together they managed Gift and Clothing Stores and an Art Gallery.

Mary studied and was very interested in Art and painted several pictures. Don and Mary traveled to several places across the United States including Hawaii, Canada and Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don Parsons, parents, Brad and Ethel Perry, Brothers Curtis, Ray, Seby, and Harold Perry. Sisters: Marjoretta Woods, and Josephine Bridgeman.

She is survived by her brother, Lewis Perry and wife Kathleen, Stratford, Oklahoma. Step-daughter Donna Bailey and husband Art Santa Fe NM. Grandchildren Ryan Bailey Santa Cruz, CA; Leah Chaves and husband Gabe, their children, Ziamara and Alonzo, Sante Fe, NM and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services: will be 10:00 AM Saturday June 20, 2020 at Stratford Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating; Rev. Lewis Perry.
