Robert Edward Parris

Robert Edward Parris
April 28, 1945 ~ September 22, 2022 (age 77)

Robert Edward Parris was born April 28, 1945 in Walla Walla Washington to Robert Irving Parris and Gladyne (Berry) Parris. Bob took his last breath on September 22, 2022 at Stilwell Nursing Home where loved ones were present. He was called by Bobby/Uncle Bobby by most of his family members.

Robert was survived by his wife Martha (Willingham) Parris, his sister Kay Jenkins of Grand Prairie, TX. Also by his three children, daughter Jackie and Farrell Hamm of Stilwell, Oklahoma, his son Robert and Judy Parris of Christie, Oklahoma, and Mark and Christy Parris of Prattville Alabama also, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren with one on the way.

Robert was proceded in death by his parents Robert and Gladyne Parris, brother Gary Parris of Midlothian, TX, and a son John Wesley Parris.

He retired from Rheem Water Heaters after 34 years. He enjoyed going to the beach; moving his chair to the edge of the water and just sitting and relaxing. Growing up he loved water skiing and fishing. He loved baseball and always rooted for the New York Yankees. Saturdays he watched his favorite college team and on Sundays he cheered on the Dallas Cowboys. He could watch gold as well, and every now and then go play 18 holes.

Bob really had a love for people; laughing, joking, and most of all telling people about the promises in his Christian ministry as one of Jehovah's witnesses.

He will be missed by many family, friends, and all the ones who knew him at the nursing home. He would want all to be happy and not sad and to remember the great times they had together and to remember to laugh at the old times. He's in Jehovah's memory till we see him again. Isaiah 40:29-31.

Memorial Service was held 1:00 PM, Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Tahlequah
