Don is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Edie May Parmeter and son Ron. He is survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and many friends and family.

Don graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1951 and continued his education at Central State College. While attending high school he was an active member in the band, pep club and choir. Out of high school Don joined the Marine Corps for two years where he played saxophone in the marching band. Don was an OG&E retiree of 35 years. Don retired in 1987 as Supervisor of Reprographics, Finance and Administration. Don spent many years serving our Lord as a music director for multiple choirs in numerous Baptist churches in the metropolitan area. He was an incredible husband. His love was such a wonderful gift from God and I am blessed to have had him for 66 joyful years.
