Gregory Miles Parks

Gregory Miles Parks
November 26, 1962 ~ May 25, 2023

Gregory Miles Parks was born on November 26th, 1962 in San Jose, California to Miles and Gearaldine (Gerri) (Gallaway)Parks and passed away on May 25, 2023, after a short illness. Cremation is under the guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service.

The family moved to Enid where he attended Enid Public Schools, graduating from Enid High School in 1981.

In 1990 he married Charlotte Sue Edwards of Chickasha. Together they had a son Shelby Miles Parks, born in March of 1992. Although they eventually divorced, they had a lot of love for each other and for their son which would last for the remainder of his life.

In 1984, Greg began an over 20-year career in Law Enforcement, serving the Oklahoma communities of Watonga, North Enid, and Chickasha, as well as Angel Fire, New Mexico.

After leaving Law Enforcement, Greg would eventually begin a career in Enid at the agricultural supply warehouse Wako, serving the company for nearly ten years.

Greg was a life-long fan of sports, specifically OU football. He was a loving father, brother, and friend to many in the community.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandparents Sherman and Elsie Parks and Jarrell and Annie Gallaway, and other extended family. He is survived by his son Shelby, of Enid, his sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Bill Reynolds of Enid, along with many friends and extended relatives.

At his request, no funeral services will be held. A gathering for friends and loved ones will be held at The Lounge at the Enid Ramada Inn on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, from 4-6 PM.

Per Greg's request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
