Patricia Jean 'Pat' (Cornwell) Parker

March 1, 1946 ~ August 16, 2009

Patricia Jean 'Pat' Parker, 63, of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Pat was born March 1, 1946 in Waco, Texas to Francis and Earline (Stewart) Cornwell.

Pat grew up near Ft. Sill, OK until moving to Midwest City where she graduated high school in 1964. Pat furthered her education, receiving an associate's degree, in Secretarial Administration from Oklahoma State University.

It was at OSU she met and married Jimmie 'Jim' Parker. Jim's career in the U.S. Army moved the Parker's around the United States and world. This suited Pat just fine as she enjoyed traveling, something the Parkers continued even into retirement.

Pat was past president of Midwest City Council of Garden Clubs. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base as a Logistics Specialist.

Pat is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jim; son, Darin Parker and his wife Jamie; grandchildren: Courtney Paige and Cameron Michael; sister, Kathy J. Moore and her husband Gary; aunt, Eddy Lois LeBeouf of Georgetown, TX; great nephew, John McAlister; great nieces: Amber and Rebecca McAlister and a host of other relatives and friends.
