Eric Parker
November 5, 1951 ~ August 20, 2013 (age 61)

Eric Parker, 61, passed away August 20, 2013.  Eric was born November 5, 1951 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Ben Roy and Joyce (Logue) Parker.  He grew up and attended school in Sapulpa, graduating in 1970 and later attended OU, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. 

Eric married the love of his life, Brenda Holmes on November 21, 1974 in Norman, Oklahoma.  He was a self-sacrificing man, who always put God first and loved his family dearly.  His quick wit and great sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know him. 

Eric was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Vicki Perkins. 

Survivors include his wife Brenda, of the home; son Jonathan Parker and MaryAnn Cooper of OKC; daughter Erica Mansell and husband Matt of Tecumseh; grandchildren Courtney, Taylor, Dylan, and Haley Mansell; sisters Judy Walrath and Jeannie Harwood; as well as countless other loving relatives and friends.

Services are 10:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home.  Arrangements for Eric and his family were placed in the care of the Vice family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Online condolences may be shared at HavenbrookFuneralHome.com
