Carrol Parker, 78 year old Woodward resident passed away, Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2024 in the 1000 Hills Ranch Church with Reverend John Paul officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Carrol Fern Parker was born to Georgia Bell (Damron) and Jesse McHenry on September 18, 1945 in Woodward, Oklahoma. Carrol grew up and attended schools in Woodward. She was united into marriage to Jerry Dean Parker on June 27, 1960 in Perryton, Texas. The couple made their first home in Woodward and lived in Iowa and Kansas before moving back to Woodward in 1974.
Carrol worked in the cosmetology and food industries. She enjoyed playing pitch and going to the casino with friends. Carrol loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Carrol is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jerry Parker; son, Ron Parker and wife Joyce; daughters, Jeri Carol and Geni; three brothers: Ray Houlette and wife Ellie, Jim Houlette, Steve McHenry and wife Gay; sister, Linda Case; grandchildren: Tamara and Bryan Shurtz, Christopher and Katie Parker, Cody and April Burdette, Candyce and Trenton Kidd; great grandchildren, Layne Shurtz and girlfriend Sacia, Adalyn Shurtz, Trenton Kidd, Jr., Thannual and Tallee Kidd, Kamran, Tomi and Cory Parker; special friends, Cathy Wright, Sandy Akins, Ada Root, Leona Freeman, Hailey and Jody Gartrell; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Houlette, two sisters, Wanda and Sue Ann Houlette, Judy McAdoo.
