Larry Edward Parish was born October 27, 1948, to Claude Thomas and Elnora Marie Parish in Bristow, Oklahoma. He departed this life , in North Platte, Nebraska at the age of 73.
Larry graduated from Bristow High School in 1967. He served his country
in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. On June 24, 1988, Larry
Edward Parish and Dana Lynn Cantrell were united in marriage. From this
union were born two sons, Kyle and Dustin.
He was a member of the Bristow
First Baptist Church where he served on many different committees. Larry
also attended Falls Creek for many years; helping out anywhere needed. He
loved being around and pouring into the kids.
He was employed by Rawson LP, retiring in 2014. Larry had many different hobbies including, hunting fishing, golfing, snow skiing, and traveling. He was an avid Bristow Purple Pirate and OU Sooner fan. He was the president of the Bristow All Sports Club for many years and spent countless hours at the sporting events running the concession stand and doing whatever was needed for the kids. Most of all, Larry was very proud of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Parish; two sons, Kyle Parish and wife, Katie and Dustin Parish and wife, Haley; two brothers, Willard Parish, Tommy Parish, and wife Kenna; one sister, Claudia Warner, and husband Bob. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00PM Friday, September 2, 2022, at the Bristow First Baptist Church.
