Visitation for Maxine H. [Hathcock] Palmer, 76, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, formerly of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy, in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 15th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church, 407 N. Main St., Mt. Prospect, Illinois.
Maxine H. Palmer was born on September 29, 1930 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She died on Sunday, March 11, 2007.
Maxine graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1952 with a degree in Music. She taught private piano lessons and was also an accompanist for the Dodge City Kansas High School Music Department.
Masine was active in all the Presbyterian Churches where she and her husband served. She was an Elder and the Chairperson of the Mission Emphasis Committee at Community Presbyterian Church in Mt. Prospect and served as an Elder Commissioner to the Presbytery of Chicago.
Beloved wife of Reverend Paul Palmer whom she married on May 29, 1951 and recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.
She is also survived by her children: Camille Elayne (Niki Marler) Palmer, Deedra Quay (Dennis) Devine, Lisa Ruth (Clark) Herron and the late Russell Wade Palmer; grandchildren: Bobby, Ian, Nathan, Dylan, Donovan, Kiesha & Michaela.
She was preceded in death by her parents Max & Quay Hathcock and her brother Theodore L. Hathcock.
In lueu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Presbyterian Church, 407 N. Main St., Mt. Prospect, Illinois, 60056.
