Danny Owens

Danny Owens
January 9, 1950 ~ February 3, 2022

Danny Owens, 72, of Bartlesville, OK, departed from life on Thursday, February 3, 2022 after failing health. Danny was born January 9, 1950 in Skiatook, OK to John Quincy and Virginia Owens. He was the sixth of twelve children. Danny graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1970.

He worked on his parents salvage yard, moved houses and eventually worked as an oilfield mechanic on compressors . Danny enjoyed watching television, especially movies, and giving candy and treats to his nephews and nieces. Danny was a loner but would help anyone in need he could.

Surviving siblings include: Barbara Taylor of Barnsdall, Johnnie Mae Roberts of Wynona, Iona Huddleston of Tonkawa, Bill Owens and wife Linda Owens of Tulsa, Ruby Martin and husband Ben of Sand Springs, Wanda Todd and husband Howard of Joplin, JoAnn Selvidge of Barnsdall and Amey Watters and husband Larry of Bartlesville. Danny also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents John and Virginia Owens of Barnsdall and his brothers, Benny, Jerry and Harry Owens.

A Memorial service will be in the future at a date not yet determined.
