Joe V. Owen, 65, of Claremore, OK born on March 18, 1958, in Muskogee, OK. He was the son of F.E. and Lora Owen (Nelson) and died Saturday, May 27, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.

On June 25, 1983, Joe married Jo Lynn Pannell in Muskogee.

Prior to retirement, Joe worked for AT&T. He was a Free Mason, a crappie fisherman, husband, father, poppy and friend. Joe was a Christian of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Lynn Owen of Claremore; daughters, Mariah Cissne of Claremore, Shelby Owen of Oklahoma City; and granddaughters, Brynlea, and Lila Cissne.
