Memorial services for Debbie Ortega, 53, of Marietta were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2 in the Chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta with Reverend Jerry Turner officiating. Remembrances were shared by family and friends.
Born June 29, 1964 in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of Carlos Ortega and Delia Rangel-Ortega, she passed from this life to the next on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
Employed at Winstar World Casino, Debbie was a hard and dedicated worker.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Estephania Rangel and grandson, Domineek Rashad Rambo.
Survivors include her mother and father, Delia Ortega and Carlos Ortega of Abilene; two daughters, Stephanie Rambo and husband Rashad, and Raven Aldava; son, Stephen Ortega and wife Leslie; four sisters, Dolores Ortega, Diane Ortega, Linda Swint and husband John, and Gloria Demery and husband Charles; two brothers, Manuel Ortega and wife Teresa and Anthony Ortega and wife Julia; five nieces; six nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were R.J. Rambo, Efrain Ramirez, Kevin Alverado, Joel Swint, C.J. Demery, Chase McKinney, Brenden Lynch, and Nicholas Ortega.
