Bertha "Floreine�" Chappell Oltmanns was born January 3, 1921 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Carnie and Dolly (Pieratt) Chappell. She passed away December 5, 2011 in Oklahoma City at the age of 90 years.
Floreine sold the family home in Enid and moved to nearby Assisted Living facilities. After the death of her sister, Ima, Floreine wanted to go back to her roots and moved to the Chappell family owned Willow Creek Health Care facility in Guthrie where she spent her remaining years. Floreine sustained a massive stroke and died a week later on December 5th in Mercy Hospital less than a month prior to her 91st birthday!
Survivors include, two children, Suzan and Mike Reeves of Edmond and Connie Mack Oltmanns of Enid; grandchildren, Megan Shannon Reeves of Ada, OK, Dr. Amber Reeves-Daniel and Dr. Kurt Daniel of High Point, NC, Captain Derek Reeves of Eagle River, Alaska, Jeffrey and Dana Oltmanns of Xenia, OH, Jennie Marie and Preston Snow of Sand Springs, OK; great grandchildren, Benjamin Stoermer Daniel, Claire Debra Oltmanns, and Niai Elizabeth Daniel. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilmer Oltmanns, daughter, Barbara Kay Oltmanss, brother James Harvey Chappell and her sisters, Ima Moore and Patience Chappell.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 9, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Crescent with Pastor John McLemore and Pastor Keith Gordon officiating. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.

Surviving are children, Suzan and Mike Reeves and Connie Mack Oltmanns; grandchildren, Megan Shannon Reeves, Dr. Amber Reeves-Daniel, Dr. Kurt Daniel, Captain Derek Reeves, Jeffrey and Dana Oltmanns and Jennie Marie and Preston Snow; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Wilmer, one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
