Peggy M. Oles, 70, of Enid, passed away on November 4, 2024, at The Commons in Enid. She was born April 10, 1954 in Glendale, California, the daughter of Willis C. McClenaghan and Clara E. Nelson.

Peggy graduated from Anaheim High School in California, with the class of 1972. She went on to college at California State University earning a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. During her time in college, she had the opportunity to be an exchange student in Wales, which she greatly enjoyed.

She began her lifetime career at Sears working in the automotive department and working her way to being a sales manager. This is where she met her forever sweetheart, Bobby D. Oles. She and Bobby were married in Anaheim, California in 1979. Peggy and Bob were devoted Christians and members of Calvary Chapel Church in Chino Hills, California. After they both retired from Sears, they spent a lot of their time traveling the country. During their travels, they enjoyed sharing the word of God. They shared forty-four happy years of marriage together. Bob passed away July 18, 2023.

Peggy greatly enjoyed being an organizer of Operation Christmas Child at her church which she was recently honored for her 10 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, and caring for her cactus garden.

Peggy is survived by her brother, Tim McClenaghan, along with other close, dear family.

Preceding her in death are her husband Bobby D. Oles, her mother, Clara E. McClenaghan, her father, Willis C. McClenaghan, and two brothers, Daniel and Steven McClenaghan.

A gathering for prayer and celebration of Peggy’s life will be 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Heath officiating. Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorial contributions in Peggy’s name may be made to Calvary Chapel Church in Chino Hills, California with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
