Thomas Albert Oleksuk, 88, of Lindsay, died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at his home. The son of Michael J. Oleksuk and Pauline (Hyrchanny) Oleksuk, he was born March 26, 1932 in Fannystelle, Manitoba, Canada.
Thomas married Margaret Rose Kenyon on October 15, 1955 in Elm Creek, Manitoba and she preceded him in death. He has lived in the Lindsay area for the last 26 years and enjoyed farming, raising cattle, working on machinery. He worked for many years as a journeyman structural iron worker in the construction industry and was a member of the Iron Workers Union. Thomas� greatest enjoyment was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Oleksuk; one daughter, Colleen Oleksuk; and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Oleksuk.
He is survived by one daughter, Aleta Oleksuk, of Lindsay; two sons, Clinton Oleksuk of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kurtis Oleksuk and his wife, Linda, of Lindsay; four grandchildren, Ahren Oleksuk and his wife, Samantha, Karina King and her husband, Tony, Justine Oleksuk, and Aleska Oleksuk; two great grandchildren, Rhett Oleksuk and Dane Oleksuk; two sisters, Gladys and Phyllis of Everett, Washington; two brothers, Jim and Gordon, both of Manitoba, Canada; and many other loved ones and friends.

Margaret Rose Oleksuk, age 77, of Lindsay, died Monday, February 6, 2017, at her home. The daughter of Albert John Kenyon and Ruth (Engemon) Kenyon, she was born September 20, 1939 in Elm Creek, Manitoba, Canada.
Margaret married Thomas Albert Oleksuk on October 15, 1955 in Elm Creek, Manitoba. She worked for many years as a bartender for the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge and helped to organize the Bartender�s Union. She then went to work on the ranch, raising cattle. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and going to the casino. Margaret�s greatest enjoyment was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved taking the children out for a ride on the golf cart to go check on the cattle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Colleen Oleksuk; five sisters, Verna, Vera, Mary, Diane, and Eleanor; one brother, Warren; and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Oleksuk.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Oleksuk, of Lindsay; one daughter, Aleta Oleksuk, of Lindsay; two sons, Clinton Oleksuk of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kurtis Oleksuk of Lindsay; four grandchildren, Ahren Oleksuk and his wife, Samantha, Karina Oleksuk, Justine Oleksuk, and Aleska Oleksuk; two great grandchildren, Rhett Oleksuk and Dane Oleksuk; one sister, Lucille Woods, of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and many other loved ones and friends.
