The Memorial Service honoring the life of Emily Lynn Nuss will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday November 20, 2020 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Emily born Sept 3, 2003 to Brandi (Canady) Hawkins and Kody Nuss in Wichita, KS. She spent the majority of her life in Enid, raised by her grandparents Randy and Lisa Canady along with the help of her Aunt Courtney. At the age of 13 she moved to Paragould, AR to be with her Mom. She tragically passed away in a car accident on Nov 13, 2020 at the age of 17.
Emily enjoyed watching Netflix, doing her makeup, and socializing with her friends. No matter the circumstance or place, Emily never met a stranger. She had friends all over. She liked to try to be the prankster, but usually the pranks were pulled on her; to which she would laugh and have fun with.
Emily was loved by everyone she met. She was full of life and had an infectious smile and laugh.
She was preceded in death by her Mema (Lucy Storer), Uncle Carl, Uncle Chris and Aunt Brenda. She adored all four as much as they adored her.
Emily is survived by her Mother Brandi and father Wes Hawkins and father, Kody Nuss; grandparents Randy and Lisa Canady and Malinda Nuss; siblings Trevor Jackson, Kenli and Chandler Canady, Easton, and Landon Hawkins; great-grandparents Lester and Alice Steventon; along with several other Grandparents; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
Emily will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and those who knew her.
