ENID, OK - Funeral service for Leonard Clay Northcutt Jr., 44, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Central Christian Church, with Pastor Don Ailsworth of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. A private family burial will precede the service. Service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Clay was born Aug. 12, 1969, in Enid, Okla., to Leonard Clay Northcutt Sr. and Mona Kathryn (Cotton) Northcutt and passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Clay grew up in Enid and attended Emmanuel Christian School, Oklahoma Bible Academy and Enid Public schools.
He moved to California to be near family and then to Tucson, Ariz. Clay then moved to Phoenix.
While in Phoenix, Clay attended the University of Phoenix, where he received an associate degree. He later moved to Ponca City and obtained his commercial driver's license.
He returned to Enid in 2004. For the past several years, Clay worked at Northcutt Auto Group.
Clay attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and enjoyed riding motorcycles and music. He was an avid baseball card collector and a gifted artist.
Clay is survived by his father, Leonard Clay Northcutt Sr. and wife Kayle of Enid; brothers, Scott and wife Christy Northcutt and their children, Nate and Lindy, and Kenneth Northcutt, all of Enid; uncle, Bobby Cotton of Plano, Texas; aunt, Charlotte Fox and uncle, Fred Fox Jr. of Lawton, Okla.; and aunt, Dr. Cecilia Northcutt and uncle, Sam Ray of Tucson, Ariz.
Clay was preceded in death by his mother, Mona Kathryn (Cotton) Northcutt; maternal grandmother, Pearl Cotton; paternal grandparents, Clay and Anna Lee Northcutt; uncle, Owen Northcutt and wife Sherri; aunt, Sharron Northcutt; cousin, Joseph Cotton; and stepmother, Roxanne Northcutt.
Memorials may be given to the Jim Riley Outreach or a charity of the donor�s choice, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
