Mack North, only son of Arthur E. and Velma (Haws) North, was born on November 6, 1933 in Cordell, Oklahoma and died on June 2, 2004 at his home in Slaton, Texas, after fighting a long battle with cancer.
Mack was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank North of Dill City, Oklahoma and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roberts Haws of Cordell, Oklahoma.
When he was able to work, Mack spent many years in the automobile parts business.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a sister, Virginia Browning.
Mack is survived by his wife, Romaine, of the home in Slaton, TX; two daughters--Cassie and Melissa; one son--Michael; three stepchildren--Donna, Jay, and Vickie.
Services were held at Westview Baptist Church in Slaton, Texas on June 5, 2004.
