Craig James Norberg

Craig James Norberg
April 17, 1983 ~ September 6, 2017

Craig James Norberg, 34, passed away on Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, from injuries sustained in a four vehicle accident in Baca County on Highway 287, 12 miles north of Springfield, Colorado. With him in the vehicle, was his mother, Wendy Ann Norberg, who also passed away.

Craig was born on April 17th, 1983, at the United States Naval Regional Medical Center in Okinawa, Japan. He loved his family unconditionally and was always very dedicated to them. Like his father, he had a deep passion for cars and enjoyed sharing this with him. He loved music and when he wasn't rocking out to Pink Floyd or Metallica, he could be found, listening happily, to 100.5 the KAT radio. Craig's sense of humor was infectious to all whom he spent time with. His laugh, his smile, his overwhelming positivity made it possible to always feel like a better person after being in his presence. He gave his all with everything. Whether it be his family and friends, cars, music, school, or work, Craig lived his life by being all-in with whatever he did! His heart was full of love and compassion, which serves as a friendly reminder to all of us to love others like he loved. We are all better people for having had him in our lives. We mourn his loss greatly, but take comfort in knowing that he goes to join his mother, grandmother, and grandfather in Eternal Peace with his Heavenly Father. God be with you till we meet again.

He is survived by his father, James John Norberg III, brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and DeeAnn Norberg, sister, Rachel Norberg, nieces; Kalaina, Gwendolyn, Asha, and Leia, nephews; Darin, Daniel, Brian, and Trystan, aunts; Mary Mafia, Susan Hubble, Tamie Kelsey, and Denise Kelsey, uncles; Scott Kelsey, Steven Kelsey, Bill Norberg, and Mike Sessions, many cousins and amazing friends.

He joins in passing with his mother, Wendy Ann Norberg, and is preceded in death by grandparents, Thurman and Sandra Preece.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday Sept. 14th at Sunny Lane Funeral Home (4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK)
