Derwood Lynn "Derlynn" (Wade) Noble
February 9, 1954 ~ March 22, 2024

Derlynn Noble, 70, of Woodward, passed away Friday, the 22nd of March 2024 in Woodward surrounded by her family. A memorial service is planned for 10:00am the 5th of April at Billings Funeral Home in Woodward.

Derwood Lynn (Derlynn) (Wade) Noble was born February 9th,1954 in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Derwood and Doris (Jageler) Wade. She grew up in Eunice, New Mexico and graduated from Eunice High School. Derlynn and Donald R. Noble were united in marriage on February 24th, 1972 in Eunice. They were married for an inspiring 52 years before her passing.

The couple traveled considerably following Don's career in the oil and gas industry, finally settling in Eunice, where she ran a floral shop for many years. After his retirement, Don and Derlynn moved back to Woodward to be closer to family. Derlynn enjoyed her German Shepherds (Hoss, Baby and Max), painting, gardening and working in her flower beds, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Derlynn is survived by her husband Don, a son, Derwood Noble (Teresa) of Eunice, three daughters, Sherlynn Farley (Mike), Charlynn Fowler (Shelby), both of Woodward, and Amanda Noble (J) of Red River, New Mexico. She also leaves behind a brother Jody and his wife Kathi, sister Sherri Werley and her husband Darrell, as well as eight granddaughters, Laira Woolfolk (Dru) Baylee Noble, Brynna Gregg (Chance), Tayla Terry (Juan Sosa), Destanie Noble (Abram Valdez), Desirae Noble, Raven Candelaria (Tevin) and Airyn Laird (Taelen) and three grandsons, Keiton Koch (Courtney), Tyler Terry (Makenzie) and Zaine Farley, and 6 great-grandchildren, Coen, Charli, Ettie, Chanlyr, Aubry and Kaia.

Derlynn was preceded in death by her parents, Doris and Derwood Wade, and her sisters Doris Jo and Alice Rose.

She was loved dearly by many, and will be missed terribly.
