Cora Ann Nix, 89, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November
27, 2023

Cora Ann the eldest of four was born on Wednesday, July 11,
1934, to Johnnie Daniel and Opal Irene Craven in Matador, Texas. After Cora
Ann graduated from Brownwood High School in 1951, she went on to study at
Texas Tech.
She married Ned Lanier Nichols in Dickens County Texas in 1956. Their daughter Kelly Lynn was born in September 1957, the first son Kevin Scott in November of 1959, and their youngest son Kerry Max in December 1960. She married her current husband Bobby Allen Nix in Pampa, TX in 1977.
Cora Ann loved reading, watching movies, and going on adventures with her husband Bob.
She was preceded in death by J.D. Craven (Father), Opal Craven (Mother), Kerry Max Nichols (Son), and Patti Hamilton (Sister). Cora Ann is survived by her loving husband Bob Nix of Kingston, OK as well as two sisters, Francine Braselton of Paducah, TX, and Rachel Harrison of Jayton, TX. She is also survived by her children Kelly & Denis Breault of Kingston, OK and Scott & Sharon Nichols of Seminole, TX along with her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, Casey (Michael, Kaleb, Levi) Swindell, Tanner (Brenda, Jaxon, Gracynn) Berry, Chance Nichols, Brooke Nichols, and Josh (Lydia, Brooks, Wade) Nichols. Cora Ann will also be missed by Bob’s children Robbie & Don Selvedge of Alabama and Terry & Jeannie Nix of Amarillo, TX along with all of their families and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held in Spring 2024 in Matador, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name: Cora Ann Nix 14150 Stepp Rd Kingston, OK 73439.
