James Eddie "Jimmy" Nimmo, 60, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born October 3, 1954 the son of Ernest Eddie "Sonny" Nimmo Jr. and Freda Dean (Cook) Nimmo. He was married to Cheryl Ann Leep on December 30, 1976 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mr. Nimmo was a graduate of Sallisaw High School and a driver for Littlefield Oil and Gas.
Survivors are: Wife: Cheryl Ann of the home; one daughter: Adrianne Michelle Nimmo of Tulsa, OK one son and daughter in law: Jim Ed and Chrissi Nimmo of Tahlequah, OK; two grandchildren: Mattie Ross Nimmo and James Leep Nimmo; one brother and sister in law: Barry Wayne and Lisa Nimmo of Akins, OK; one niece: Lindsey Jo Nimmo of Sallisaw, OK
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Freddy Nimmo
Funeral service will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10 am at Blackgum Harvestime Church in Vian, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be Wednesday 4 - 8 pm, Thursday 10 am - 8 pm and Friday 10 am - 8 pm. The family will greet friends Friday from 6 – 8 pm.
