The services celebrating and honoring the life of Linda Nichols, 66, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home with Pastor Jim officiating. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Linda was born July 18, 1955, to William and Hazel Huston in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and passed from this life December 31, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Canton, Oklahoma, and attended Canton High School. After high school she moved to Pryor and later Muskogee. She married Lanny Nichols in July of 1987. From this union came three sons Matt, Lester, and David. The couple moved to Enid were they made their home. She worked at Three Towers for many years until its closing. She then operated Shooter's Lounge for many years with her husband. She worked at Walmart for twenty-five years until her retirement. She enjoyed going fishing, riding Harley's, music and playing pool. She absolutely loved spending time with her family, cooking for them along with all of there friends that she raised as her own.
She is survived by her children, Matt, Lester, and David Nichols, of Enid, grandchildren, Luke Nichols, Dylan Nichols, Sadie Nichols, Penny Nichols, William Nichols, Kameron Hulsey, Jaxson Nichols, Trinity, Landyn, Brooklyn, Sturgeon, Mercedes; one brother Raymond, of Okeene, Oklahoma, one sister Shirley Day and husband Bobby, of Bethany, Oklahoma; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lanny Nichols; her parents, William and Hazel Huston; one grandson Adrieon Ratlaff.
