Larry Don Nichols

October 16, 1943 ~ September 3, 2004

 Services for Larry Don Nichols, 60, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, Colleyville, Texas.

Mr. Nichols was born October 16, 1943, in Stockton, California, the son of William Washington and Treva Joyce Mobley Nichols. He died Friday, September 3, 2004.

He was raised in White Settlement, Texas, and graduated from Brewer High School in 1962, and married his life-long love at age 16. In December 2003, Mr. Nichols was diagnosed with cancer. He was a teacher and innovator in hydraulics.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Heidi Nichols; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robbi and Jeff McClure and Penny and General Proudfoot; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Nick and Buford; and a sister, Rita Sifford.

Local survivors include three aunts, Irene Manning, Lois Dewbre and Betty Whitley, and an uncle, James Mobley.

Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his parents.

Interment was in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, under the direction of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
