Edith Ann Nichols, a former resident of Woodward, was born May 17, 1934 in Rives, TN. She died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her home in Dyersburg, TN.
She was a faithful Christian with ultimate faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Lorena Tubbs of Memphis, TN and a sister, Patsy Nell Tubbs.
Survivors include her husband Harry "Ed" Nichols of Dyersburg, TN; Five children: Donna Franklin of Cordova, TN, Rose Bedwell of Knoxville, TN, Ray Hollowell of Ocean Pines, MD, Jennifer Nichols of Dyersburg, TN, and Jackie Edwards of Springfield, MO. Eight Grandchildren; and Seven Great-Grandchildren; Four Sisters; and a brother.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26 at Fowlkes United Methodist Church, 55 Fowlkes St., Fowlkes, TN 38024.
In lieu of flowers, she requests donations be made to McIver's Grant Library, 410 W. Court St. Dyersburg, TN 38024.
