Donald was born in Winfield, Kan., on Aug. 8, 1936, to Effie Louise Thomas Newman and Ivan Clayton Newman and died Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Aline.
Donald was a teacher and administrator for over 40 years in Oklahoma and California.
Surviving are wife, Judy; children, Steven Newman, Clayton Newman and Shannon Tiger; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
